FREE Community Class: Intro to Psychedelic Breath

Join us for this special 1-hour intro to psychedelic breathwork, (don't worry, we won't be ingesting anything psychedelic) which is designed to gently bring you into an altered states of consciousness using only the breath. This practice is known for emotional release, unblocking physical tension, and increasing self love, acceptance, and connection. After the breathing, you will be guided through a short meditation, and then there will be some time for sharing if desired.

*This style of breath work is contraindicated for Cardiovascular disease (angina, previous heart attacks, or strokes), Detached retina, Glaucoma, Aneurysm in brain or abdomen, Kidney disease, Severe Asthma, Epilepsy, and any other medical, physical or psychiatric condition which would impair or affect the ability to involve in deep physical and emotional release.

Pilates Flow, created by Krista Lennartz, reimagines the classical Pilates repertoire by weaving exercises into seamless, dynamic sequences. In this introductory class, you’ll explore the fundamental movement patterns that define Pilates Flow, learning how to transition smoothly from one exercise to the next while building confidence, strength, and coordination.

Unlike the regular Level 3 class, which challenges seasoned practitioners with complex sequencing, this workshop focuses on the foundations. You'll move through modified sequences at a comfortable pace, with plenty of guidance and time to explore key concepts like flow, connection, and breath.

Whether you're brand new to Pilates or looking for a fresh approach, this class is a great way to experience the joy of movement in a supportive, community-centered setting. Come as you are and discover how Pilates Flow can elevate your practice!

We will explore bridging, the hoof, the diagonal lunge, and statue on wheels, which will evolve into a plank! The class will start on the mat and then we will head over to the core align studio to play on the machines! (yes, this is all just a sneaky ploy to share our love of these machines with more people!)
