Intro to Vinyasa Yoga (90 mins)

Accessibility is at the heart of what we do. That’s why it’s our mission to meet students where they’re at, providing specific containers for deeper study and FREE community classes open to everyone!

Rooted in the dynamic tradition of Ashtanga yoga, Vinyasa is an invigorating class style that emphasizes the seamless connection between movement and breath. Each posture is synchronized with the inhale and exhale, creating a rhythmic and meditative practice that energizes the body and focuses the mind.

The fast pace of this class can feel overwhelming, hence this slower paced version where Scarlett will break down the alignment, breath and flow of sun salutations A & B as well as standing postures such as warrior poses, crescent lunges and forward bends. This 90 minute class will offer modifications and go over prop supports to give you a better understanding of what your body may need for full expression of these postures.
