The Practice Space is a mindful movement studio for folks who want to create a dedicated practice.
On September 1st, The Practice Space will expand into a charming single-studio location in the Woodstock neighborhood. With this new space, our yoga program will continue to grow, allowing us to offer an even stronger schedule of classes. Alongside many of our current Belmont teachers, we are excited to continue much of the former Elk Rock Yoga schedule with its existing teaching roster. Our hope is that this transition honors and supports the studio's established community while creating new opportunities for it to flourish, connect, and grow.

We want everyone in the Woodstock community to have the opportunity to give us a try. Through December 31, 2026, every drop-in class is just $11 at our Woodstock location. Drop-in classes will have an expiration of 90 days.*

No, The Practice Space is a unique and different small business that will be adopting this location as of September 1st.
However, The Practice Space and Elk Rock owners ahve made a wonderful transition agreement that is maintaining the current yoga community intact. Many of the Elk Rock teachers will continue there classes and many students will be able to transfer unused credits.

If all goes to plan our tentative opening date as The Practice Space is Tuesday September 1st, 2026.
The classes offered on the new schedule will be published and emailed to everyone as early as possible. Expect many classes to be similar to the current Elk Rock classes with even more special offerings in support of your practice.

We think of our Woodstock location as an extension of our primary studio at 4220 SE Belmont Street. All standard memberships and drop-in class credits can be used at either location, giving you the flexibility to practice wherever best fits your schedule.
