Trimester 3 — Pedagogy for Movement Professionals.

Who is this for?

The third trimester is for the career Pilates professional track. Completion of all three trimesters results in a 500 hour teaching certification. This trimester will dive deeply into the critical theory of teaching students in private sessions. A primary part of this curriculum is comprehensive programming for contraindications or unique physical considerations.

During the program many of the hours will be held through independent study, reading and assignment, and studio apprenticeship for all graduates to have a location of employment immediately after certification.

Dates for 2023: There are 2 modules meeting May 27th through June 25th and July 8th through August 5th. Each module is 5 weekends in length (Saturdays and Sundays, 12pm-5pm).

*If a teacher already has an education in Pilates repertoire this program is of great benefit as it dives deeply into teaching theory, planning, biomechanics and physiology, assessment and cueing. This program will help all teachers refine their "spidey senses". If you are already certified and desire to take this trimester independently of the first two please contact Krista directly.
