40 Days: The Three Strands of Reality is a transformative yoga series designed to explore the deeper layers of yoga’s teachings through dedicated practice and community support. The aim of this series is to understand and apply the theory into one's daily life as a catalyst to shift from habitual survival reactivity into thoughtful responsiveness. This not only supports our own purpose, but becomes an affirmative contribution within every relationship that we engage with.
This program will offer seven weekly meetings. The aim will be for each student to commit to daily practice which aligns with their individual needs and circumstances. There will be weekly handouts and journal prompts for continued self-study and contemplation. This program is for anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy and integrating it into their lives. This program will also be supportive for yoga teachers wanting to deepen their understanding of yoga philosophy. This program does require commitment from the participants.
Led by: Meghan
Cost: $180 (this includes the cost of the in-person Thursday sessions, the cost of any additional yoga classes at The Practice Space is not included in this price)
40 Days Topic Spring 2026:
The guṇa theory states that there are three qualities which are present within all things in the natural world and also within each individual. These qualities work dynamically together and influence one’s psychological and behavioral disposition. The description, characteristics, functions, and effects of the guṇa-s provide profound insights into human nature and they serve as a means of transcending one’s limitations. The introspective study of the guṇa-s and their functioning leads to better self understanding by providing a new language or way of seeing oneself and the world around them.

Why? We can establish ourselves in a state of optimal health and well-being and live a purposeful life, fused with abiding joy and awareness. However, this requires that we first identify the choices and ways in which we impede this possibility. Secondly, we need to establish practices which support us to establish positive health physically, energetically, psycho-emotionally, socially, and spiritually. This all requires effort and can result in meeting ourselves in hard places. A supportive community is a tremendous aid in this process.
