Mindful movement for folks who want to create a dedicated practice

Innovation Grounded in Tradition.

We are more than a yoga and Pilates studio. We are a community rooted in education, agency, and practice as a form of social change. With over 100 classes each week, we offer mat classes (25 spots), small-group equipment classes (6 spots), and private or semi-private sessions to support every mindful movers journey.

As one of the first studios to offer full-time salaries to yoga and Pilates educators, we’re redefining the relationship between students, teachers, and modern mindful movement spaces.

We honor the traditions of yoga and Pilates while advancing our mission to teach, lead, and guide students in developing physical agency and emotional resilience through a clear, dedicated approach to practice.

Our Offerings

Memberships at The Practice Space

You can join us through drop-in classes or our most valuable options - autopay and paid-in-full memberships. Because we prioritize balance in both our practice and our business, we carefully monitor enrollment to avoid overselling. As of February 2026, we have approximately 15 remaining equipment memberships available before we begin a waitlist.

We currently have good availability for mat class memberships for dedicated students, and we’re always happy to help coordinate schedules for those interested in combining regular classes with one-on-one private session support. Our goal is to ensure members can access the classes they love while maintaining a thoughtful balance between demand and available space. As a quality-over-quantity community, we intentionally protect room in the schedule for those already practicing here.

You can learn more about all membership options anytime on our Membership Options page. Thank you for helping us keep The Practice Space a place where everyone can practice, connect, and grow.

Review Us Today

“With your patient guidance and always good humor, at this point in time I am mostly pain free

and feel like I have made good progress toward my additional goals of becoming stronger and more graceful, and improving posture and balance. It is almost miraculous. When I started studying Pilates and CoreAlign with you, I was in daily pain and was nearly convinced that a spine surgery was my only remaining option to deal with it, and that option did not look very encouraging. I was scared, frankly. I can say with complete honesty that every time I visit the studio, I depart feeling better and lighter on my feet than when I arrived. I am deeply grateful. You are doing incredible work and I look forward to continuing the exploration with all of you.”

The Practice Space School

Our school is intentionally structured in tiers that build upon one another, allowing you to deepen your practice at your own pace. The program is designed for everyone whether you're exploring for personal growth or preparing to become a teacher.

A Revolutionary & Grounded Approach

We believe that studying mindful movement is about more than just certification; it’s about understanding yourself, your practice, and the impact of teaching through a deeper lens. Our school is led by two career educators who bring a wealth of expertise to both practitioners and future teachers.

  • Meghan Maris, M.A. in Yogic Studies // Director of Yoga Education // Meghan guides students into deeper practice and teaching through a social and ethical lens, ensuring that practicing and teaching remains grounded, inclusive, and transformative.

  • Krista Lennartz, M.A. in Pedagogy & Motor Control // Director of Pilates Education and Owner of The Practice Space // Krista brings a unique focus on personal agency in movement, helping students gain a deeper understanding of their own bodies while introducing future teachers to the science and art of pedagogy in mindful movement.
